MooTools 1.2 has been in the wild for a number of months now. My Accessible Ajax Tabs demo has been rewritten for 1.2.

"setHTML" is deprecated in 1.2 -- "set" (with a "html" parameter) was used instead.

has anyone integrated been able to add effects to this? I can get it to fade out, but not back in for the new tab.

Great work on the tabs! One small problem I can't figure out though. In Firefox 3.5, the tabs don't expand far enough to display longer text. It works fine in IE and Safari/Chrome, though. I can "fix" it by increasing the tab-label padding-right css, but then it's too big in other browsers. Any ideas?

Good point, KP. I've updated the demo and project files with corrected CSS.

Tested in FF3, IE6, IE7, Chrome2.

The trick was to float ".tab-label" left.
